Knowledge is Power

Knowledge is Power is an image of Adam and Eve contending with the devil in the Garden of Eden. In certain belief systems, Eve is credited with bringing humanity into its mortal state rather than being faulted for it, in order to give us an opportunity for more efficient spiritual progression. As with all my work during this period, I depicted beings as robotic or mechanical, as a reaction to technological development advancing faster than our ability to manage it properly.
