Cartesian Logic
Cartesian Logic is a painting portraying a laboratory rat as a mere mechanical device used to assist human development and discovery. It was meant as a cynical portrayal of the excesses of experimentation in animals, especially rats and mice, which I had learned was often redundant in experiments.
