Resurrection
Resurrection is a painting of the mythical and immortal Phoenix, painted with the intention of using sigil magic to help end a terrible situation. It was produced during the Covid-19 pandemic, and its bright colours and graphic effect are in stark contrast to the circumstances of the time. Sigils are symbols used ritualistically to bring about a desired effect. In this case, the Phoenix represents victory and perseverance in the face of a global health crisis.
